IT-Effect A/S processes personal data and we have adopted this privacy policy that states how the personal data is processed. The privacy policy describes how data via Web Forms, newsletter sign-up and cookies are collected and used by the IT-Effect. At your request you can gain insight into what information is registered about you, and you can object to a registration in accordance with the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (see more in the section ' Processing of personal data ').

We use data about you to provide a better service while ensuring quality in our products and services.

Privacy
In some cases we need to group your data with data we receive from other parties for example from social media such as Facebook, YouTube And LinkedIn. If this combination can reveal your identity or the information is of a private/sensitive nature, your consent to the data processing is obtained.

Collection and storage of personal data for certain purposes
Processing of data for specific purposes or for other legitimate business purposes happens by the purchase of products, signing-up for newsletters, events or other material published by us. When collecting and processing data for specific purposes, we only process data that is relevant. The character of the purpose constitutes what personal data is relevant to collect and process. IT-Effect A/S does not collect or process data that is not relevant to the purpose. When registering for newsletters, your data is processed by MailChimp which in this case acts as the data processor –  Read MailChimps Privacy Policy.

Checking and updating personal data
We verify that the personal data we process about you is not false or misleading. Also we update your personal data continuously. Our service and performance to you depends on your data being accurate and up to date, so please let us know if there are any relevant changes to your data (please use the contact details). In order to ensure the quality of the data we process, we have adopted internal rules and established a procedure for storing, verifying and updating your personal data. We delete your personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose.

Consent
We obtain your consent before processing your personal data for the purposes described above unless we have a lawful basis to obtain it. As a user we will of course inform you about our legitimate interest in treating your personal data. Your consent is voluntary and you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. If we wish to use your personal data for purposes other than the original purpose, it is our duty to inform you of this and to collect new consent for the modified purpose. If we disclose your personal data to partners, for instance for the purposes of marketing, we will obtain your consent and inform you about what your data will be used for. You can object to this kind of disclosure at any time by contacting us. We will not obtain your consent if we are legally obliged to disclose your personal data. We obtain your consent if it is necessary to use a sub-processor in countries outside the EU to process your personal data. We impose requirements on partners in countries outside the EU to ensure that your information is processed according to the requirements of the GDPR.

Security
We have internal rules on information security that contain instructions and measures that protect your personal data from being lost, altered, destroyed, unauthorized disclosed and against unauthorised access or knowledge the data. In the event of a security breach that results in a risk to you, we will notify you as soon as possible of the security breach.

Your rights
You have the right to know what data we process about you, where the data comes from, what we use the data for and how it is stored. Furthermore, you can also be told how long we keep the data we have about you. Get your personal data corrected or deleted
If there are errors in the personal information, we process about you, you have the right to have them corrected. You can contact us and inform us of what data is not correct and what needs to be corrected. With you we will agree on how to correct the personal data with consent and under proper conditions under the law. In some cases, we have an obligation to delete your personal data. This obligation occurs if you withdraw your consent, if you believe that your data is not required by the purpose for which we obtained them or if you believe that your data is being processed in violation of the law or other obligations. If you want your personal data deleted, you can contact us and tell us what data you want deleted and why, and we'll make sure your data is erased. In case you are contacting us about correcting or deleting your data, we will examine whether the conditions are met and, if so, will complete correction or deletion within 30 days.

Objection to our processing of your personal data
You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. And you may object to our disclosure of your data for marketing purposes. If you object (find contact information at the top) and the objection is justified, we will ensure that the processing of your data is terminated as soon as possible.

You have the right to obtain the personal data you have provided to us and the data we have collected from you from third parties based on you consent. You also have the right to transfer your personal data to another service provider. If you want to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, we will check if it is possible and give you a reply as soon as possible and no later than one month after we have received your request.
